Municipality located at an altitude above sea level of 609 metre, It has an extension of 27,6 Km2 y tiene una población aproximadamente de 1.809 inhabitants.
Located in the northeastern corner of the province of Cadiz, in the so-called Sierra Norte. It is bordered to the north by the province of Seville and to the east by the province of Malaga.
